We all love to eat, but as we age our body and nutritional needs change. Stop by the librayr for this program presented by the Aging Institute to learn how to feed your body the right way. A demonstration of healthy recipes that use five ingredients or less will take place and you’ll be given tips on eating right at any stage of life. This program is free of charge to all interested patrons, but registration is mandatoy, so please call the library to sign up or visit our website at www.moonlibrary.org to register online.

The staff from the Aging Institute returns to Moon Library to help us find our G.P.S — goals, passion, and support — to navigate life’s unexpected twists and turns. Whether you’re facing a new career, the end of a relationship, an unexpected illness, caring for a family member, or anything else, having a road map to follow and knowing where to turn for support and guidance can help. Join us as experts help us to find just that. This program is free but registration is mandatory.
Offered Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday Evening in January
Moon Area High School senior Ibraheem Hafeez will be at the library every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evening in January to offer free one-on-one computer classes to interested senior citizens free of charge. Ibraheem will help you navigate th Internet, teach you computer basics, help you work with your email, or anything else that you might want to do. Learn how to use the technology available to you from someone who knows it best… a teenager! Classes begin at 6:00 PM and can be completed in 30 min or 1 hour blocks of time (i.e. 6-6:30 or 6-7) and you are welcome to come once or as often as you like.
