Come spend the evening under the stars with local amateur astronomer Larry McHenry on Friday, August 13 at 7:30 p.m.
Larry has been active in amateur astronomy for over 35 years. He will be giving a presentation titled “Stargazing, an introduction to the Constellations”, and will setup various astronomical displays with hands-on books and other items.
After the presentation, there will be an outdoor session, starting around 9:00 pm with several telescopes that the attendees will be able to look through and observe the planet Jupiter, along with starclusters and nebulae.
